a Pennsic vignette

Wednesday night as we were preparing dinner a mighty storm came roaring down on us. It started with high winds, during which we dropped the canopies and made sure tents were secure. The bottle of white wine came a bit after the delivery of the goldfish and the water. Also, I included pasta sauce, along with the pasta ... something to go with the red wine. :-)

Yeah, it's the little moments like this that are fun. (Well, that and the music... which I still need to write about.) I don't go to Pennsic to see the sights so much as to be with fun people.

I did hear the story about R&K's Amazing Collapsing Tent and how the tent I had been using became a useful backup...which was appropriate since it was also R&K's tent on loan to me for my first Pennsic.

NEXT year I have no conflicts for the entire 2 week period. :D:D:D:D
