(no subject)
It seems I'm pretty much finished until finals begin... a whole week- and it's the last week of the semester. Amazing. Lots of recitals to go to, though, so I am not likely to have a completely free evening until next monday.
We did the Brittian War Requiem tonight - USC Symphony, Cmaber orchestra with faculty, USC Concert Choir, University Chorus and a children's choir with about 90 members... at the applause, there were at least 300 people on stage.. it was amazing. We actually pulled most parts of it off pretty well, too. :)
I consulted the I Ching friday while I was hanging out with Molly.. It came up with Influence and Gathering Together, and the quote I most like it "What is right comes in its own time", which is something I believe anyway- it's just nice to be reminded occasionally.
And a random quote from a conversation I'm having right now: frogchick138: women really are the stronger sex. Just thought I'd share.
This is very sparce and random; I just felt like it had been too long since I've written anything. The life is beginning to even out, and things would be wonderful if we could just get out of this house without having to pay beyond May- I like our new landlords so much better than the current one.
Bedtime now, after i finish talking to Hope. It's so weird to have such a good friend off and married and with a baby - especially her. :)
