i'm back in oakland.
i have a job.
i'm at it now.
this is what i've done today:
6:45 am: woke up. texted jason. lay in bed listening to npr
7:15 am: got out of bed, dressed, etc.
7:45 am: left to bike for work
8 ish: pass Berkeley high. overwhelmed by smell of bad cologne. almost run over high school students on my bike.
8 ish: arrive at work. turn on NPR, get coffee from kitchen, fill water bottle, check email.
8 am - 12 pm: email, RPS classes planning, gchat with Mark.
myspace, facebook, get more coffee.
pee.
facebook chat with Jonny. sucks so we switch to gchat. look for pictures of brian austin green with jonny's new hair cut.
search travelocity for flights from chicago to oakland.
search priceline. kayak. expedia. search for flights from oakland to portland, missoula, and chicago.

boss approaches desk. quickly close internet screen. talk to my boss for a second. check work emails. talk to a student on the phone.

get more coffee. pee. eat some almonds.

check yahoo mail account (never do) and read about best and worst dressed at emmy's.
paint my fingernails on one hand.
boss comes to desk. nailpolish in desk drawer. hide one-handed painted fingernails.
file some papers. call scheduling department to schedule computer lab for instructor.
paint my other hand's fingernails.
turn off NPR and turn on iPhone shuffle on quietest setting so as not to bother nearby cubicles.
