I offered up my innocence, got repaid with scorn...

The Alkaline Trio show tonight was amazing. Up until tonight I had forgotten just how much fun I used to have at shows. They played surprisingly well and Mike Park and Colossal were equally amazing. Me and Whynock picked up a Colossal album on vinyl which apparently made us part of their "preferred fans" club. We saw Kristin and a friend of hers there as well, which was really cool. The last attempt at hanging out didn't quite turn out so well, but that's in the past and it was just really good to see her again.
On a more depressing note, I apparently suck at life as I absolutely can not find a date for prom. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a coward and was just able to build up the nerves to ask someone.
Also, after numerous attempts and just as many failures at starting a band, Tyler and I are jamming on Sunday and I think this one might perhaps have potential enough to evolve into something worthwhile.

Things I'm looking forward to:
-tons of shows (Ben Folds, Killers, Coldplay, Mars Volta, Dylan, Murder by Death...just to name a few)
-hopefully having a band that lasts longer then 2 weeks
-graduation
-prom?
-continue adding to my quickly growing collection of vinyl
-summer!

I was not tired at all when I began this entry, however, I feel sleepiness beginning to set in now and since I have a wonderful day of both school and work to look forward to tomorrow, I believe a bit of sleep might be necessary at this time. Farewell friends.

(Strange that the last entry I wrote in here was at the beginning of the school year and it took me till the end of the year to write another)
