Spinach is amazing, even if her name is strange. She's adorable! Dad had a fit the first time she breathed fire. I thought he was going to fall over the edge of his chair. It was a disappointment when he didn't. He hasn't even noticed that I took the money from him ( Read more... )

Just make sure you have an escape route planned for when the house lights up!

Well, I don't have a cat that sets things alight. But if the house were got go up in flames, I would, first, grab my wand and Licorice and start aguamenti-ing the hell out of everything, second, grab Freddy, and third, Apparate to the backyard, before fourth, going back in to make sure Lucy got out as well. See? All planned out.

You would go back in? You are going to die!

Well, this is under the assumption that my parents aren't home; I can't really leave my little sister inside to die, even if she is obnoxious!

That is why it is better not to have siblings! I don't have anyone to save!

But I'd be so much lonelier when I'm not at school! It's also two more people who might remember that I'm around, so I have half the likelihood of getting locked out of the house.

I am glad I don't have siblings. I would just have to take care of them, and I don't really want to do that! And someone eventually remembers I have been locked out, anyway.

Well, Freddy is only a year younger than me; she doesn't need me to take care of her!

Did you used to have to take care of her, though?

There was always such a small age difference that it never meant I had to take care of her, or at least, no more than she had to take care of me.

Sometimes I have to babysit Lucy, though.

You would have if you had my parents!

Why?

We got into awful trouble together when we were little.

If she's left home alone she turns the pots into rats. It's the only magic she can do, but whenever she's pissy she goes at it.

I think a lot of children do!

Do you end up with rats everywhere?

Not really; my parents and I change them back, and if we miss one, the spell wears off after an hour or so. We find pots in odd places sometimes, though.
