*gurgles* What makes Celipa insane...
Last night another chick died. The poor little guy went into shock, when I was washing his crop out.
I had noticed that the crop of the youngest chick was full of hard undigested food, and the bacteria was spreading like a bruise. So I thought that perhaps I could help him out. When I first put some warm water down there, he acted quite strangly to it. However, I didn't think anything of it. So I took him and rubbed his little crop, swishing the water out, trying to break the undigested food apart. Well, once I had him upside down in my hand, and was ready to coax the food up and out of the crop, he was going into shock, but I didn't realize it at first. After he puked up some of the food, that's when his heart stopped, and he looked at me with those big black eyes, and they slowly began to close. I felt so guilty, and felt that I had killed him. *sighs* Now there are only two chicks left. One has the bacteria now, and he can't use his little feet, almost like they were crippled. The first chick is so spunky, he's very annoying sometimes -_- But I loves him. :3
