RIP Anne McCaffrey
Met her at Armadacon about 20 years ago and was lucky enough to spend about 20 minutes in her company discussing the merits of Sapphire and Steel. She was fierce and funny and I liked her a lot.
Loved the Dragonrider Books, particularly those dealing with Menolly and a couple of her other series as well.
