what a weekend!
This past weekend was Rachel's bachelorette party up in Buffalo, so we drove up friday night. Saturday I ran some errands and then we had lunch with my aunt and cousins. It was great to see the kids- they are just getting big so fast! My mom had offered to take the 4 year old for the night, so Celia had her cousin around to play with. We even all went over to chuckEcheese for dinner and some playtime. It was great! Then Kristi picked me up and we met up with everyone at Pearl Street Brewery for dinner. The food was awesome! Then we headed over to the Chocolate Bar, which is a funky place at Chippewa street. The desserts looked incredible, the chocolate martinis were good, and and my crepe with swiss chocolate ice cream was to die for. I can't wait to go back!! Then we went to a few clubs, which was a whole new experience through my 30 year old eyes. Last time I went "clubbing" I was 24, newly married, and was frequently out dancing and having fun. Now, I knew none of the music, none of the drinks, and ended up with a headache and ringing ears by the time we left. Amazing how things change so fast. I was probably one of the few married people in the bar at all, and most likely the only one with a kid. At least I now know that I'm not missing anything! ;)
I saw my dad and other cousins on Sunday for lunch at the Cheesecake factory. YUM! After lunch, we wandered the mall a bit, and then took a nap. I was exhausted! I have no idea how I"m going to make it in Vegas with little sleep, but I'm sure going to try!
We're getting all set with the siding replacement, all we need is the approval from our HOA and we're good to go. We did return home to yet another hole, and a squirrel scratching in the wall in Celia's room. So we've called a squirrel trapper, who is coming today. Also, we finally got it scheduled to have the carpet in Celia's room and the guest room redone. It's really nice carpet, in a light grey. I can't wait! And I was even lucky enough to get them both scheduled to come the same day!
Off to work on some presentations for work!
