The first step towards ratifying the treaty is tomorrow. If it passes the senate it will move forward to be ratified. I don't know much about the process. I live under a rock... lol I do know that this is just one treaty in a series of UN treaties that Obama is pushing. This one will take away my rights as a parent of disabled children. I won't be able to homeschool them (not even saying I want to... it's just a right being taken away). The government, being overseen by the UN (so really the UN), will decide on their behalf. That sucks majorly. There are at least a dozen treaties that I have read about. Another one is about arms. The US will supposedly lose their right to buy and sell arms without the UN's OK. I guess in Germany and Sweden they can't have guns because of this same treaty. And you get your children removed if you go against what the UN says.
Most people have no idea that this is going on! It's like they are sneaking it right under our noses. And I don't even understand why... Why would our government want to hand over control of our country to someone else?
