[Writing] Compassion's Blade
1) I want to start editing this, but I need a second (and third?) pair of eyes. Anyone out there interested in reading over a story that's approximately 4,000 words and contains general insinuations of various forms of child abuse?
2) When it's all edited and as up to my standards as it's likely to be, I'm considering just converting it to a PDF and offering it as an e-book story through DW/LJ/word of mouth. It will (hopefully) have a gorgeous cover if I can negotiate a deal with the artist. I'd probably price it between $2 and $3. Mostly because of the cover art (it is absolutely gorgeous I cannot even describe how beautiful this piece of art is).
3) So I need to know: would anyone be interested, and would you pass the word along whether or not you bought a copy for yourself? Also, if you did, and read it, would you review?
4) I really need to try to revive my defunct reading group... but I don't finish things often enough to really have a permanent one. :(
