What? If Donald and Goofy are stupid enough to keep attacking even when they're almost dead and not heal themselves, I'm not wasting a potion or a Curaga on them. They'll recover soon enough anyway.
(For the record, all 8 of those were probably used on Beast during the fight with dragon!Maleficent in which I perched on a high ledge and he was more valuable than Goofy. I am quite the pragmatist in my games.)
Yes, yes this does mean I have defeated Kingdom Hearts on expert mode. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Seriously, after all the grief I went through to get there, Ansem is STILL a disappointingly easy final boss, even on expert. From the time I left Final Rest to the last part of the game, to the end, I did not die once. Not ONCE. I had a hell of a lot more trouble with the first Hollow Bastion fight with Riku, and with regular Maleficent.
So, all of this has made me do two things:
1) Buy the soundtrack off Amazon.com.
2) Add Kingdom Hearts: Recoded for the DS to my Wishlist on Amazon.com.
It has made me WANT to do two things:
1) Immediately begin a replay of KH2, which I will do when I finish this post and once I've found a decent walkthrough on GameFAQs.
2) Write epic KH fanfic involving a plot to bring Sora, Riku and Kairi together with Aqua, and also involving much Riku/Sora and ~~**SPOILERS FOR BbS**~~Aqua/Xehanort!Terra.~~**END SPOILERS**~~
I do not look forward to Twilight Town in KH 2, but hey, at least I can skip the cut scenes on this game. YAAAAY! I am also not looking forward to the crazy centaur dudes in Land of the Dragons. >:(
