Why is all my fic so hard to classify? :(
I was just looking at the
hp_creatures community, which features fic wherein at least one of the focus characters is a creature (vampire, werewolf, etc.), and I was excited for a moment because I'm working on a fic about Bill.
But then I thought "Wait, does Bill count? He's not really a werewolf. I'll PM the mod...."
And then I realized that Bill is sort of a focus character, but he's not the PoV character, so would that count? So I thought I would include that in with my PM to the mod.
But then that had me thinking about the last time I had to PM a mod about a fic, to see if it fit within the comm's definition of "gen!fic" because their definition included the idea that if the plot revolved around a pairing in any way, then it wasn't gen!fic, and I was like well the plot of "A Share of Darkness" sort of revolves around a pairing but it's not romantic in the least, and it's not really the pairing it's the aftermath and... I tried to explain it to the mod without getting really detailed and the mod was basically like "Eh, just post it and we'll see."
So trying to explain to a mod how Bill is sort of a werewolf and sort of a focus character but not the PoV character and I'm not even finished with the fic and won't be for a while because I've still got fic for
lilyjames_fest and
nextgendarkfest to finish before I can really get back to Bill... I just don't feel like doing that before I have to head to work.
Which I should be getting ready for instead of posting this post.
SIGH.
OH ALSO I NEED A CO-MOD FOR
hpchallengefest PLEASE?
