I hate the fucking state of fucking Louisiana. Fucking budget cuts everywhere, and always in EDUCATION and fucking HEALTH CARE. Because who the fuck needs an educated workforce or competent health care, right?
So, basically, here's what's going on:
There are two birth certificate clerks at my hospital, me and another woman.
Because of the budget cuts, the hospital is trying to avoid layoffs by simply not replacing positions when people leave.
The labor unit has no clerk.
Somewhere along the line, the FUCKTARDS in administration have gotten the idea that they are not in need of two birth certificate clerks. However, the supervisor over our floor still wants to keep the extended hours, and the only way to do that is to have two birth certificate clerks.
Their answer: float me to the labor unit to clerk. EVERY. DAY. Until 3, when my co-worker leaves, when I get to go hang around the birth certificate office for three hours until my shift ends at 6.
I. HATE. THIS. THIS IS NOT MY JOB. WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE THINK YOU ONLY NEED ONE BIRTH CERTIFICATE CLERK? Because the numbers "average out" to 3.5 birth certificates done per day? HOW FUCKING STUPID ARE YOU???? The AVERAGE does not equal what actually HAPPENS, you MORONS. DO YOU THINK HAVING ONE CLERK IN THE OFFICE WILL KEEP PATIENTS HAPPY WHEN THE CLERK IS TOO BUSY TO DEAL WITH THEM AND THERE ISN'T A SECOND PERSON???
