An anguish ridden restless ghost damned
To immortally languish in this cowled vale I am encased
I wander to and fro in frenzy in search of an escape

My desolate spirit sways upon an abysmal sigh
Mourning of dreams forever lost in eternity
Sweeping through a lifeless salt ridden lake
Of sweet memories drowned in tears of black

Gazing across the shadow lathered glades of nevermore
Where petals of withered asphodels are blown upon
Icy gales that cry in requiem

Ancient oaks gnarled of limb stand barren
No beetle nor fungus savouring the flesh
On plains of grief that lay forlorn of Ceres’ embrace
Does Persephone forever writhe in Hades’ rape?

For the cold black night perpetually reigns
But Diana never lavishes her glorious horned light
And even the stars have fallen by Death's sinister grip
