at the start of the year, i decided i was gonna refrain from buying books until i have finished all that i've either a. purchased, or b. find lying around the house (unless they are retarded, i leave that to my discretion) - i believe i read this to be jessica zafra's new year's resolution. a day after making this resolution; i walked teary-eyed pass fully booked at the fort. wasn't this store the reason i was staying in my office for at least another year? and there i was walking away. it is now the 21st of january and so far i've bought 9 books. i am such a dork. i wish i was the type to like historical novels or things that seem remotely intelligent. unfortunately, i prefer contemporary fiction. i haven't the skill or knowledge to identify truly great books - i rely on best seller lists to dictate what is good. i am retarded and wasting money on what is possibly garbage in the real world of intelligent people. blah.
went to robinson's place in ermita this afternoon. they have a new wing - midtown, i think it's called. it's rather nice. have a new wing to familiarize myself with. how fun.
