Bang Baka Narrative
Hiiiyyyaaaa~ I finally can go down to writing about the team outing!!! Hahahahahaha
Okeis, well, the team outing last April 13-14 (yes, we went on Friday the 13th) was a blast! Seriously, I enjoyed it!!! I was having doubts about the whole thing because last eyar's outing was a total bummer for me but this year it bounced back into the genki line! Weeeee!!!!!
Day at the office
Well, the day started out quite normally and I went to work but thsi time hauling with me the supplies we are to use that day 9paper plates, utensils, trash bag, bread etc etc etc). Apart from me looking like a runaway, everything was normal. Same old, same old. I managed to get the budget going and then look after the other thigns for the outing while tending to then then 30+ invoices on hand (pretty bad timing ne?). At the end of the day a group went on first because they have to drop by an officemate's house to get our food. The rest of us stayed because we still have work to do and finally went on our way at about 7 pm (mind you, our check in was supposed to be at 7:30 and we were miles away from the resort. lol).
Journey to the destination (How I understood why Genjyo Sanzo is always grumpy)
As expected, As soon as I sat inside the jeep, I put on my earphones and listened to music. While traveling I don't really talk much, I want to look around and stuff, and I wasn't in the mood to talk then (because I was really sure it was going to be a bummer outing so I was busy sulking hahahaha). They played around inside the jeep and became noisy and I simply ignored them (at that time I was Genjyo Sanzo grumpy believe me, had I a harisen in hand I would've whacked a couple of heads hahahahaha).Everything was going okay (despite the fact that we got kinda lost and stuff lol) until the moment when, while jeep is going on a uphill climb (the resort is located in a community situated on a mountain so there are really slopes there) and I noticed the thick smoke and its strong smell. Thinking it was normal, I just covered my nose with my jacket and continued sulking but then sparks started flying from the tail end of our jeep. Well I was still ignoring this because it can be normal right? Acutally me and my friend who was sitting in front of me were ignoring it until such time that my friend informed the driver about it. At that moment, the festivities stopped and the air inside the jeep became tense. Another friend who was seated beside me started panicking, and just about the time when the mood has become darker, a passing motorcycle suddenly said: "HEY, YOU'RE VEHICLE'S ON FIRE!" that was the last straw and my friend immediately went: "Quick, get out!" while another officemate who was seated at the front was surprisingly at the door in front of my friend. My friend, the one in front of me was having trouble with the lock of the jeep and because my other friend is already panicking so he just yanked the straw tied around it and they all got out. As for me? Well, I was so darn bored that I just dragged my bag out after them. That apparent cool minded gesture I showed was to be mentioned by my superior later on but I didn't dare say that I was just too bored to panic like hell (of course I got scared but I guess the boredom beat it. lol). While the driver was looking after the jeep, we laughed at the fact that a few weeks ago, a friend made a vid/movie via a website and the movie was about getting trapped. And to heighten things up, guess what was in front of us? A cemetery (mind you it was Friday the 13th too hahahahahaha) lololololol. After that, nothing notable happened and at last we came to our destination at about 9 I think.
Pool Party: Bang bang Vacance
That was truly a bang baka!!!! hahahahahahaha at dinner I was still grumpy and all and totally refused to take shots (my shooting depends on my mood) and it stayed like that until I showered. But once I got into the pool, well, it was okay already. It was fun really, we had an infinity pool and for a time, while the others were busy at the karaoke we went to the smaller pool at the bottom (the one where the water from the infinity pool comes down to). And we were joking that if one of our officemates decided to dive, then we will end up on the receiving end of a tidal wave. After some time we went out and got into the main pool again, and good thing too, because our officemate indeed made a dive! Waahahahahahahaha And so the pool party began. Since I don't know how to swim, me and my friends just clung onto the pool walls lol. Of course there was drinking (my first time for vodka *i don't normally drink alcoholic beverages*) and we had a batsu game. I something kinda similar with the one Kimura played with the Korean actress. The penalty was: whoever loses will have to drink a shot of vodka I think I lost about 3 or four times, but then for two or three times I was the first one to be saved lol. It was really fun! There were joking, singing, getting wet, wild, and drunk and I really felt it was worth it, headache with the planning and all!!!
Asahi wo mi ni Ikou yo
As usual I did not sleep. I was awake the whole time, and even though I was close to nodding off while singing I was able to stay awake. I was anxiously waiting for sunrise then as I was hoping to get a pic of the rising sun, but then I noticed that the position of the moon and realizxed that we were on the wrong side of the world! Arggh, we're at the west side!!!!! T_T. anyways, it did not keep ,e from wanting to take a picture of the morning and so I tried my best to capture the morning view. When it was already light outside, me and three of my officemates went out of the house and explored the surroundings. that was when most of my pics were taken. At the side of the path we were walking were protrusions that makes a great pic spot and my officemates stood on them for the pics. Alas, when I tried, I found that my legs shook (because of flailing around the pool), and someone during the night, when I staggered said I was already drunk hahahaha. Anyways, normally I would go on top of that stone and pose for the picture but no matter how I try, my legs were really protesting, and even though my officemates were chiding that I was afraid, (which of course I was because hell I don't want to fall down into the unknown greenery there) I really did not do it. Goro-scared I was really, but sheesh, I'd rather swallow my pride keep my feet down than cap the oputing with an accident lol. After the pic taking, we went up and jopined the others who were busy preparing. See, that's the reason why I don't sleep, we already had the pictures taken while they were still in bed and by the time everyone's up, it's already departure time. hahahahaha. Anyways, after a long fuss and more pic taking, we said our goodbye to the place.
Back Again (how I realized why Gojyo and Goku did not like being the back seat party)
On the way back I slept. Hahahahahahahaha But since it was a jeep I was really having trouble sleeping. Unlioke last year when we had a van and on the way to the resort then I had a seat to myself and was actually lying down and on the way back it was the soft cushion of the van seats that comforted me a bit, this year it was different. It was so hard to find a comfortable sleeping position!!! Really! my knees hurt becasue I can't stretch then at full length, my neck hurt becasue I can only be comfy at one position, my back and backside hurt from sitting long, and I felt like I was being broiled because the heat of the sun as getting into the vehicle! Argh, seriously, by the time we were back to the office I can barely walk, was starving, and sleepy. How I managed to go to my mom and talk to her about the outing was a miracle, but at least i had time to rest a bit while we were talking. After breakfast, I went home and slept for more than six hours hahahahahaha.
The consequence...
I was on leave the following Monday because UI got fever (bordered on flu) and just got back to work the next afternoon. hahahahahaha. It was fun, really, and if last year I can only relate, "keikaku doori ni nanika sumanai sore ga baka no bakansu" for our outing, this time it's the whole song for me, it was really fun!!!!
Only one note... borrowing a line from my fic, Wish You Were Here: ‘Yes, it would’ve been nice if you could see this. I want to show you this view.’ and adding my own piece: this would have been the only time I wanted to believe what you said but then... anyways, it would've been nicer if you were there, Captain :)
