Publication in Six Sentences
I've been looking forward to May 1st because that's the day the new issue of Crossed Genres is released, but little did I know that today would be publication day, too.
I sent in a submission to Six Sentences on Monday. This morning I checked my email and saw not only was it accepted, but it was freshly published!

Writing a complete story in six sentences is a fun challenge, and the comments I've gotten have been a really nice.
For those wondering about the Book in a Nutshell Contest, nephele posted that they had over 1,200 entries and they have now been whittled down to about 70. Those are some pretty icky odds. I guess we'll see if I get an email on Friday. It seems that everything is coming out on May 1st.
