My story "Brains for Breakfast" received an honorable mention in the Ligonier Valley Writers zombie flash fiction contest! (And this isn't the same contest that I posted about last week, either! I'm still waiting for word on that one.)
This was the first zombie story I ever wrote, and it's the first time I've submitted humor anywhere. I also had more proofreaders on this story than I've ever had before. Something about "zombies" and "Wal-mart" together made all my friends take interest.
For the record, though, my first name is Beth, not Bath as it was shown on the winners list. That did make me laugh hysterically for a few minutes, though. This is how luck works in my family.
