I present to you the coolest magazine cover ever! (Well, my rejection-scarred ego thinks so, anyway.)
My name. IT IS HUGE.
I've had poetry in two issues of Penumbra this year, but this month I broke into the magazine with my story, "Clementine, Who Swims with Mermaids." This is a story I kept out there for almost two years and it garnered several "almosts" from magazines, and I am so happy it finally has the perfect home. It's a dark and intense story from the vantage point of a very damaged little boy. You can buy it in PDF format
over here. Along with the story, I also have a post over on the Penumbra blog where I talk about
the importance of a writer finding their tribe.
