Movin' on up
So when I did my "yay I qualify for active SFWA membership" post a while back, I figured I still had a long wait ahead of me. I thought I had to wait until the qualifying work was published. However, thanks to questions asked by someone else on Codex, I learned otherwise.
Yesterday I made it all official. I'm now an active SFWA member. This is something I've wanted since I was 14 and found out that the organization existed, back when I was a devoted reader of the the sci fi/fantasy bulletins put out at my local B. Dalton Store.
I still have plenty of other life goals to go, but this feels really, really good.
