I'm so glad you were able to post!

I've seen Guess Whats called Haystacks. I wonder how many different names they have? Both recipes sound awesome. I've seen Better Than Sex cake recipes before, but not cookies.

I have no idea...we've always called them Guess Whats because it was "Guess What" is in them.

A friend gave me the Better with Sex recipe a few years ago, along with a fanfic story. I've misplaced the story, but managed to hold onto the recipe.

Here is a recipe for Spotted Corgi cookies. These are for human consumption only! These are very much in request at Corgi picnics around the US.
~Amber

1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs
4 1/2 cups all purpose flour (note, you might need to add as much as 5 cups to firm up the cookies)
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pkg. white chocolate chips
1 pkg. Hershey SKOR chips (English Toffee chips)

Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in white chocolate chips and SKOR chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until light golden color.

I love the name Spotted Corgi cookies! This looks like my sort of recipe. I've used Heath chips before, but not SKOR. Thanks for sharing!

A little late in the day, but I finally got to it!

I found this recipe in Allrecipes.com back in 2006. I can't find it there now, but fortunately, I still have the printed page. These are delicious, and they won't break your teeth like the ones in the store. Feel free to double it. I usually do.

1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar

Beat the oil and sugar together. Whisk in the egg and molasses. Add flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Use about a teaspoon of dough per cookie and roll into a ball. Then roll in sugar and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 12-15 minutes. Remove them right away and cool them on racks.
