Well. It's been quite a month. My cat lost the end of her tail, my son graduated preschool, and I did a whole lot of editing. I continued to work through Normal while doing about a dozen smaller projects as well. Many submissions have been made, and a few have been rejected already--and one sent right back out again ( Read more... )

It's my seventh major draft. As the numbers increase, my sanity decreases. Woe to the world if I reach draft 10.

I'm impressed you've reached 7 drafts. I don't think I've ever done that on any of my novels. On individual chapters and short stories...but not novels. Then again I don't tend to keep track either. And I also tend to edit as I write...especially if I'm not intending to publish.
