Limebarb Costume
This is the costume that cost me over $1400. The quality is, and I quote: The Best! Spare no expense! Tell me I'm not crazy here for making demands of refunds and threatening to take them to court (especially since I just got it this week and the contracted deadline was October 1st, 2011).
So.. the sleeves and the armlets are a bit long.
Did I mention that the sleeve material was stained?
And one of the ties unraveling...
I'm not sure what exactly they were thinking of with the 'skirt' set and the belt. I have no idea how to fasten the darn belt thing.. and the big, ugly button completely out of place and non-functional on the waist band of the 'skirt' set is odd.
See that thing coming up behind the button? That's how high up the 'thigh high boots' go. And there's no way to actually fasten them to anything.
Oh, btw, the leotard that is in some of the images? The basic bathing suit with a few modifications? The designs are painted on and are crumbling off. It's too big in the back, causing it to sag and not fit at all. I don't have a real good pic of that. I do have a pic of the skirt set in the back, where I'm standing completely straight. It does not exactly play nice.
Now we get to my favorite part of the Rydia costume: the boots. I'm not even going to comment. See for yourself.
This is the overall look of it... mostly. Couldn't get some of it on. The boots are just so narrow and they've been butchered so badly that even though they're the right size I couldn't get them to fit. It was so difficult just getting one of them on. The wig? Is the second one they had to send me, and even with this I'm not happy. This doesn't really look like it's worth $100 to me.
