Senior Show help

As some of you may know, for my senior show I am making a cookbook for college students. I plan on having it bound and possibly professionally printed. I have collected some recipes from Marietta friends, but earlier today I took stock of all that I have, and discovered I don't really have that much.  In fact, I have about 5 recipes.  If this is ( Read more... )

well, with the use of a cafeteria, and when said cafeteria has nothing good to eat that day, I go to the salad bar and pick up a small bowl of raw onions, celery and green pepper. I ask someone in the grill section to saute it up for me. then I take a hamburger, separate it into smaller chunks, and whatever pasta/noodle type thing they have, as well as whatever marinara sauce. I combo all of these ingrediants. The hamburger and vegetables make the spagettie palatable.

as far as just with stuff you have in the apartment, we like to have buffets of packaged foods. so we'll microwave up the thai noodles and the organic potato leek soup, hearty beef soup and maybe scramble some eggs, and pass around the plates so that no one has to constantly eat the same salty, over chemical taste.

Thanks! You have given me a new idea for the book, perhaps having a make in dorm/apartment section and a mixing up what is in the cafeteria section. Really, thanks a lot. I hope your break is going well!

avocado sandwiches! cut one down the middle, take out the big seed, and fill with tuna or chicken salad. and sprinkle liberally with old bay. delish.

Banana

Ingredients:
Banana

Step 1: Peel banana. Tear the skin carefully, so as not to injure the fruit itself. Watch out for soft spots.

Step 2: Eat banana.

I think I will certainly make this my center layout. The sheer simplicity, it is so perfect for a college student on the go.

If it is more than just buy hot cocoa mix, put in cup, add water, heat in microwave, then yes!
If not, then I know it already.

oh, honey on crackers or toast or anything flat and gluten filled works well as a snack/desert thing.

with the hot coco, I always add scoopable chai tea to it, it makes it smell and taste exotic, like it's much better than the usual nestle stuff is.

I eat honey on biscuits in the cafeteria all the time. I would say it is my favorite breakfast item. Although putting it on crackers may be too similar visually to my favorite snack which is Ritz crackers with peanutbutter and whipped topping and mini M&Ms. My goal is to have a photo of every entry, because I hate cookbooks that don't include photos of all the food.
