Turner Falls Trip - May
2006
Arriving at the Falls, Friday afternoon... no one there.
Two girls able to pitch a tent successfully
Desperate measures to fulfill our hunger - Vienna Sausage
sandwiches
with Goldshlager
We made friends with the Police men there. They were very
bored.
Writing our inside jokes on a dollar bill.
Licking off whatever creature left this on my car
Candle Wax
Where we spend half the night...
Hippie!
Super-glowing weed grass chasing Racahel
Flower-kissing in the moonlight.
Mad
Happy
The moon. We think it was full but maybe not.
Alright, so at 7:45 in the morning we hear the loudest sound.
It was two turkeys gobbling very loudly right outside our tent. Here are the
perpetrators walking down the streets, proud of robbing us of our precious
sleep....
Walking on the Falls
Rachael discovers a cave in the hills.
Me posing in the cave
This was our view while taking a much-needed nap down by the
river (after getting lost in the forest and feeling extremely hot)
The Castle!
Random scribbling on the walls.
Rachael.... or ghost?
Etc
Raccoons trying to attack and steal our bread again.
The cute little bunny who was not afraid of us at all.
Listening to music in the car.
Well, we got rowdy every single night. It was great.
Yummmmm
It was nice to get out and about... away from the city and all the drama and be out in nature. Rachael was an excellent camping buddy, figuring she hadn't camped in over 8 years. Her only complaint was sleeping on the hard ground with no sleeping bags and also the crazy amount of 'buzzing things' that would swoop down suddenly and buzz by. Boy am I happy to be back to civilization... kind of. I dunno. THE END.
Well, this is my last blog entry. If people would like to keep up with me send me your email address. I had a long talk with Chris and decided it is kind of creepy that just about anyone can see your blog entries and what the purpose of blogs are to begin with. So I'll still be taking pictures, still keep up my website, but forget updating this blog except every once in a blue moon. Oh well, that's all...
The End.
