Crazy Dream

Started out involving Davey and that other guy from Blaqk Audio. Some weird music video or something, but played directly into my head... kind of like I was there. Lol. It was hott. I <3 Davey.

Anywho, then there was a bunch of not so interesting stuff involving a big building and lots of walking and talking.

Then I was in the ocean, at the base of some cliffs. The water was warm, and clear, and really blue. I want to say it was in Hawaii. There were some other people there that I knew, but can no longer recall. We were surfing. There was no beach, though, only some thick plants, like a hedge, but submerged. There was a little of the green and branches above the water. The roots were either exposed or in the rock, because the plants only went down a few feet in the water, but they were sturdy enough to be stood upon. And you could get behind them, between the plants and the rock, but I'll get to that.

Anyway, we were surfing, and I realized that there might be sharks, and sure enough, there were some following us in, but they would turn when we got to the plants. But more were showing up, so we got behind the hedge thing and they would charge us. They would take a bite out of the plant and swim away, the torn shrubbery falling aside and drifting in the water. Some would go away for good, but this one kept coming at me. There were dolphins showing up by now, they would chase away some of the sharks.

The one coming at me, all the sharks are great whites, by the way, kept tearing chunks out of the plants. Someone said something about it trying to immitate a hammerhead or wood-eater. Apparently, the same thing... But my part of the hedge was getting thinner and I could feel his nose against my shin. Yet, I was only slightly nervous, not even really afraid at all.

Then everyone was gone. Whether eaten or rescued or what, I know not. I was alone with this shark and a few dolphins were off to the side, but I was not paying much attention to them. Then one came over and charged the shark, turning last moment, like it was warning it. It slowed that attack and took less plant (I had moved aside a bit so I had a little more plant in front of me) than before. But it returned, I could feel it again, ramming my legs through the hedge. The dolphin came again and this time succeeded in warding it off.

The shark swam off a ways, but was still right there. Then the dolphin started nibbling my legs, so I put my hand in its mouth to stop it, and I could feel its little conical teeth, but I rubbed the roof of its mouth and I swear it laughed like it tickled. It swam in front of me and I pet it, still hiding behind the foliage. I came forward a bit now that the shark was not so much a risk, and more came over, so there were 3 swimming about, playing, keeping the shark away, without actually engaging it in any way.

At one point I tried to grab the first dolphin's tail. It wasn't a normal dolphin tail... a bit more like a manatee's flukes, but ridged like a fish fin, yet still that rubbery feel of a dolphin. It was also darker than the rest of the dolphin. As I grabbed it, though lightly, I was pulled a little off balance and I recall the shark noticing and moving to attack again. The other 2 dolphins got behind me and the first turned back to me.

Then I woke up. It was good... I felt protected, and watched over. Haven't felt like that from a dream for a long time, and the protected feeling lasted long after I woke. ^^ I love dolphins.

Anyway, time to go home and try to make my house presentable, find a home for that dog, and go see War. I'll deal with life later, today, I am all for avoiding more bad news. 2 days of bad news, or not so good news anyway, is more than enough for me. My exercises are going well, and I'm pleasantly sore. :)
