(no subject)
hmmmmm...........well.....these past 2 days have been a bit interesting..... =P.....thursday......well...hmmmm.....i went to the art exhibit....i think it was thursday.....if not wednesday...but yeah......i went to the exhibit nonetheless.........and MAN do we have serious artists here ...lol...wow.....it was AWESOME............i saw gloria and steven there.......hung out with them for a bit...........and then i left at about 7 some.......i went to the ropa that was right across the street from where i parked........they didn't have anything good.....ha......yeah.........i went home and slept.......i think that was thursday..........i don't even remember anymore lol.........but yeah.......then friday......OMG was that FUNNNNNNNNNNN........it was the pianoland trip to corpus to see a doo wop group...the "alley cats"..........we first got to vmt in the morning.......we left at about 6:45 or so.........we stop by alice to get something to eat at mcdonalds..............yeah.......that brought back some memories........that was the mcdonald's that we ate at before the band preuil marching contest....the crossroads festival..........hah........damn.... whatever.....but yeah........so we get to corpus......we head over to the state aquarium.......awwwww....that was nice.......we saw a dolphin show and everything............sundance and kimo (sp?)....those were the 2 dolphins....that was neat.........yeah.......then we did this ocean drive thingy......on our way to half price books......that was prettyful.....we then arrived at half price books.......i bought the 2 STEPS cd's.....for a total of 3 bucks.......oh yeah, and i bought this strawberry cream soda........*vomits*......not really that good.......they also had some really nice fiction books there......ha....seemed interesting enough.......yeah...........after that, we headed to the mall......=D.....i bought a hackey sack at dr c's friend's store......it was like 3 bucks.......i've always wanted one......i think they're neato......(hey i think i'm gonna name my hackey sack that.....Neato).....awesome.....so yeah.....we start cruisin' the mall and whatnot.......so yeah......we get on the carousel........and it was me pilar G and this chick in the spinning cup........... :| ......lol......when we started.........man did it feel like the cup was gonna like spin off..........it was going soooooooo fast like you wouldn't believe......lol.......but it was AWESOME.......yeah......after that i just remember going to express......and there was this sweater jacket type thingy that was my size on clearance from 50 to 10......i liked it alot so i bought it............yeah.......so then we leave the mall........and we head over to TAMU CC....where the concert's gonna be at.....but we get there like an hour early so dr carroll takes us on a tour *she got her undergraduate degree there.....i think*........so yeah.......she takes us the practice rooms....lol.........and i had this really weird experience........she took us to her favorite room........cuz it had the biggest piano.........and then we passed by this room with marimba.....it was a nice marimba or whatever......and then on the wall......there was this sign that said "please don't make a mess in this practice room"....and someone wrote on there "too late for that"....and then right under that it said "heath is gay"..............i was like.......... O_O.......i know someone had written it just to be all cagapalo or whatever...but still.....it was sooo weird.......i was like what?!.....i just couldn't stop thinking about it......and it actually said "heath" not any other name......so i was like o_O.....i just kept thinking about it......i showed it to pilar.....and we were both like freaking out......it said heath in the marimba room.........it was WEIRD.....so yeah, we get to the auditorium and they give us a program and what not.....the concert started......and man can those alleycat's DOO WOP.......it was fucking awesome........FUCKING AWESOME man......so at about the intermission, dember points out that on the back of the program in the "upcoming events" section my name comes out......i'm like ?o-o?........so i check my program......and it says "SENIOR RECITAL....Heath Garcia.....Percussion....April 24th....7 pm..." i was like OMGGGGG !!!! LOL.......SOMEONE NAMED HEATH THAT PLAYS PERCUSSION........lol......and so it was like.........a relief sort of.....hard to explain...but yeah..........HEATH GARCIA.....lol..............WWWWWWWEEEEEEIIIIIRRRRRRRDDDDDDD......lol....so the concert was over............and man those alleycats KICKED ASS like you couldn't believe.....i bought their cd.......and they autographed it......they autographed all cd purchases...........it was cool........so yeah......we came home.......go to school like at 2 or so........i got home and i fell asleep as soon as i got here..............today we're gonna head off to san antonio.....we're just waiting for my sister to call from UIL......we're gonna pick her up and then head off.........so yeah.....that seems to be all for now.........talk to you guys later
