What's going on at the moment:

- School is getting nearer and nearer. Finally there's been an update at the school's website, listing the books we should be buying, where we have to be the first day, .. It's total chaos, half the explanation isn't even there, and when something does work, it raises more questions than it actually answers. *grumbles*
Two weeks of vacation left, though. First term starts in the week of September the 18th, but hopefully it'll only be one introduction-day.

- Vicky gave me a heartfelt present, which I was so thrilled about. Thank you, darling!

- I've started to work at the '4 Seasons' restaurant again, and I enjoy it immensely. I love working there, and I hope I'll be able to do it throughout the school year, if I don't get too much work.  The first time in a month, and the first thing they tell me, is: "Hey Annemie! Nice to see you! Say, there's a small party upstairs in one of the conference-rooms, about 30 people or so, think you can handle it?"... I guess so.. ?
I thought I'd be a nervous mess, but luckily half an hour later Kevin came up with a new guy, and said he could help me. It was only his second day, so we were kinda clueless together, which made it all the more fun :)
His name is Joery (don't know if that's the right spelling) he's incredibly tall for a 17-year old. Like.. 1.90 m. And cute. And funny. I had a blast working with him.

- I am very grateful that I've seen so much of my friends this summer holiday. Sometimes, in past holidays, we'd be traveling in different periods with our families, and I wouldn't see them for weeks, but now we managed to get together quite frequently. It takes some scheduling (which sounds absolutely absurd, since we're only 19), but with our different jobs and vacations (and boyfriends, for the other two girls) we did pretty good :)
Sunday evening, we're going to Ghent, get dinner and catch the late-night movie. It should be fun!

- Yesterday, I sent Pierre a message, asking if he was home that afternoon, since I had some DVD's I needed to return to him. I got his answer, he was in Ghent, at university, but he would be home in the evening (he still had an history-exam).
It was so good to see him! There was something that struck me about him, but I couldn't put my finger on it at first. Then I saw  his hair wasn't all gelled up as usual. God, what a difference. He has beautiful dark dark brown hair, so why he put gel in it most of the time is beyond me. He was wearing a new pair of jeans, a new Led Zeppelin shirt in black and grey, and ... It's the first time I have ever looked at Pierre that way. I've never noticed before, I mean, he's my friend and all that, but he is rather attractive. Tall and lean, and with his hair down. It looked so soft :)
Now I won't go on about Pierre's physical appearance, because that would be freaky, but.. well.
Other exciting news: He made it into film-school!!!!! OMG!!!
There were 70 people who were allowed to try out, and only 25 were selected, based on an interview and several written test they had to do (analyse a Hitchcock movie or something) and HE MADE IT !!!
He's over the moon, and I couldn't be more happy for him. (Everyone else; his family, even his girlfriend are rather skeptical about it, since he just finished his first year studying History at university, but so what? He has a gift, he's so original and talented, so why can't they just be supportive? I think it's amazing, and he deserves it!)
I stayed and we watched 'Revolver' by Guy Ritchie. .. Weird movie. I liked it, it's intriguing, but in the end, I was absolutely clueless. We had fun, though. We were both so tired, yawning throughout the movie (especially me; I was half sitting, half hanging on the couch. He put a blanket over me, so I must have looked really tired  ^_^ lol ) I think I cycled home around midnight. There was a full moon, and everything looked so beautiful! I didn't even need to use my light, I could see everything so well.

- This night, I'm babysitting, tomorrow there's work at the restaurant and again babysitting in the evening, and sunday there's dinner and a movie in Ghent. I'm sure I'll be entertained until term starts ;)
