Small/medium update.

New class started..managerial accounting..omg I picked the most boring major EVER. Oy.
At least I'd use this later in life, instead of learning that "we should adjust our managing styles when we're dealing with people in other countries." Because my barn is going to be TOTALLY international...GAH. I refuse to take another class from turban-man. THEY ARE USELESS.

My class starts at 9 now, which gives me about another 15 minutes to sleep. I bought my book right before class so I didn't really get to do last night's homework, and I'm procrastinating on tonight's. This is one of those boring classes I SHOULD care about, but just don't.

Haven't been able to ride; it's been rainy and I REALLY need to get ahold of Joe. I finally got his number from Molly, now I just need to convince myself (or Thomas) to call him. We need to get the number for getting hay AND to get the horses trimmed. Which reminds me I should charge up my clippers and finish Sadie's clip job..she was getting a man-beard ^^ I think I'll leave the long hairs on her jowels and stuff to keep her warmer this winter, but the coarse hairs and her bridlepath were driving me NUTS! I also need to wash her blanket..I think I'll do that when I get home.

We took the dogs out for a walk yesterday and were trying to teach Shiloh to heel, but she's so ADD it's difficult. RC picked it right back up and did really well. However he really wanted to go play with this Basset Hound that got over into the pasture, and he was unnecessarily interested in the sheep..sigh.

We are ALMOST FINALLY UNPACKED! There's about a box and half left, and we were able to store some stuff in the garage because an old tenant came and moved out her stuff. However in the process of moving our stuff up onto the shelf Thomas decided to use the rickety ladder without any help and it slid out from under him..fortunately he landed on his feet first and his knees absorbed most of the shock. He was standing about 5 1/2 feet off the ground when it fell. He scraped up his shins and probably hurt his knees but other than that he's fine..I held the ladder in place while he moved the rest of it.

I don't know if I should be rightfully annoyed about this but our landlord's two kids keep parking their bikes ON THE SIDE OF OUR HOUSE. It shouldn't really bother me but WHAT in the world is wrong with parking their bikes on THEIR house or in THEIR garage?? The landlords themselves also keep parking in front of our garage, not that we can use it right now anyway because they have a bunch of their stuff in it right now as they're building a basement under their house and that's where they're storing it, and we knew that when they moved in but when it's empty and we can use it, I'm going to be pissed if they block us in there. Before they kept parking RIGHT behind my truck so we could BARELY get it out..it's like..seriously, you have the biggest driveway EVER. WHY do you need to park RIGHT BEHIND ME!? Our bathroom still REEKS like mildew so I went a little overboard with the air freshener earlier..we've been burning candles and incense but the candles didn't work and the incence made it worse. I think we have a clog in one of our drains or something..but we can't pour anything down it that's not safe for a septic tank. >.> The fence for the yard also hasn't been finished and I don't think it's going to be anytime soon unless Thomas or I does it. Right now the dogs barely have enough room to run around but at least there are boards up so the chickens will stop getting into the yard.

I'd like to call Katie and see if she has time to give me lessons, but she is awfully busy and I'm sort of afraid she'll just tell me to join the equestrian team and take the free lessons there or take the lessons from the dressage coach, but I can't haul my horses and I'd prefer to take them from someone I KNOW and someone that's worked miracles with Kishou. I should just give it a shot anyway but I always second-guess myself at the last minute. Ugh.

Thomas went to Alco, so I'm waiting for him to get back..and then we'll go home and I can wash that blanket. I think I'll call Katie now. Cya!

Update: Lessons are a go! Monday at 6! =)
