[She rises from her crouch as the light fades, then Amaterasu lifts her head to the sky and howls. There's something wrong in the air, she can feel it. The sense of something impending can't be shaken off.

But there are things to be done. She has a few people that need talking to.]

[ His glasses are conspicuously missing, meaning that there's no way to hide the fact that he looks like he could keel over any second. He seems a bit confused. ]

They let you come back just like that?

[She whuffs, her tail wagging. Yup!

Waaaaait~, Yukio, what happened to you? DDDDD:]

[ Just tired from all the panicking. And lacking in the red glasses department. And being tall and skinny isn't doing him any favors with all the wind - his balance is precarious at best. ]

And they didn't hurt you or anything right? You look okay, but you've also got all of that fur so it'd be easy to cover things up. They didn't screw with your head or anything did they?

[She seems to shake her head. No, she's okay. Whining a little, she snuffles at the sphere. He doesn't look so good, it makes her worried~ ;; ^ ;;]

[ After nearly toppling over for the nth time from wind gusts, he flattens himself against the ground, sprawled out and face-up. Strangely, he doesn't seem to mind that the wet ground is going to make him filthy despite his vanity - it seems to be the only relief he's got from the wind. His calculations say that he's at a safe distance from the high waves, but he's not very confident in them at the moment. He sighs. ]

I'd give pretty much anything for a warm, dry place right now, you know? And a decent meal, too. I just wanna find a safe place where I can eat until I pass out and sleep until I feel normal again.

[Ammy watches him, then shifts to her human form. Her hair and clothes are caught by the wind, but she doesn't stumble.]

Can you not find a suitable shelter? I can create a fire for you if necessary.

I've got a lighter that I can use to start up a fire as long as I can find something dry to burn and a place that's out of the wind - unless it disappeared to wherever my glasses are.

[ Sounding defeated: ] Before this, I was too worried about recovering from what happened before I got here, then thinking that the ones responsible for that followed me here. I only stayed in the same place when I had no choice and I'm not sure if Kazuhiko would take me back at this point.

It seemed like a one-time thing.

[She cocks her head, watching him for a moment, then seems to decide something.]

If you have nowhere else to go, you are always welcome with me, Yukio. I would not mind. Most of the time I do not take up much room as it is.

[ Fondly: ] Even if you did need a lot of room, I'm used to sharing a small space with someone who takes most of it up. You'll hardly notice I'm there.

[ With that he slowly staggers to his feet, once again struggling against the wind. His back's covered in sand but he doesn't seem to notice. ]

If you're sure about it, just tell me where it is.

I am afraid I seem to have a reputation for snoring. [She smiles, her tail wagging.]

I can do better than that, I'll take you there. All you'll have to do is hold on.

I'll take any amount of snoring over being stuck out in this weather longer than I have to be.

[ He doesn't sound happy about waiting - he's still rather soggy from the rain and, again, the wind isn't helping things. It's causing all kinds of trouble, isn't it? ]

Yeah, sure. If you can't find me pretty easily, you can assume that the wind blew me away or buried me in sand or something. This planet seems to hate me.

I'll be there soon, I promise. But this planet does not seem to care much for any of us, I think.

[That wind is a bit unsettling, and it confuses her when she's going by scent, but Yukio's hard to miss, even in all this wind. She drops onto all fours and takes off, it's faster this way, even if she does end up with sand in her fur.]

I guess to be fair I have been calling it ugly ever since I first saw it. The color's not as bad without my glasses, but that doesn't really mean much when it's spitting sand in my eyes every chance it gets.

[ Yukio and Ammy: Together, they are perhaps the whitest pair of living beings on the planet. He'll be out in the open shivering and generally looking displeased - hard to miss indeed. ]

[They can be a matching set~! Ammy slows as she gets closer, the wind whipping away the flower blossoms she'd left in her wake. Trotting up, she rubs against his legs in an encouragement to get on. She'll have to take him to one of the caves out of the way of the wind and the water until she can find the others.]

[ Flower blossoms. Wow. Great. As if all of this didn't seem enough like a bad trip already. Is she really trying to get him to climb on her back? Something about this seems so very *wrong.* ]

[She whuffs at him, tugging on his sleeve. Either he gets on by choice or she'll toss him on.]
