[The heat is all well and good, but not something pleasant for someone with a fur coat. So Ammy has gone human and taken after Sora and Ino and tossed the last of her clothes, and is actually willingly in the water. With it up to her chin, no less. The world, it is ending.]

Ahhh~, it's hot~... I wonder if there might still be any ice cream...

Mh, I think most of it may have melted, by now. Are you still feeling well, Ammy?

Better now. I never thought that I would say this but the water makes it much better.

[He chuckles. And is most definitely not trying to make anything out under the water - believe his totally innocent expression.] It usually does, you know! I don't think bathhouses would be quite so popular, otherwise.

[Ammy is totally oblivious to any ill intentions.] I never really spent much time in them, Issun did not like baths, and the water always made my fur feel heavy and smell bad. Perhaps it is better when I am in this form, I will have to see.

[canniballistic]

[No ill intended, surely, but even pollen-free Abel does have his moments.] Ah, I see. I can't imagine that feeling very good at all! If it's only that heavy feeling and the smell, though, have you considered putting up your hair, as well?

Putting my hair up? [What? Looks up at her bangs, confused.]

Like mine? [He demonstrates further by taking his ponytail and winding it up on top of his head, briefly.] You'll keep it dry, and it might help you cool off!

Ah! [Her ears perk up, then she frowns a little and her ears droop again.] I let someone borrow my hair tie. But that was after the fight.

Hmm. Well, I suppose I can lend you my ribbon? My hair is always up, I wouldn't mind trading off for a while. Uh, hey, did you say fight? What fight?

[Her ears perk forward.] Are you sure?

[Ammy scowls, the expression surprisingly dark for a moment.] Someone told me that the gods of Nippon were useless and never did anything for anyone. [She perks up after a moment, almost preening.] So I beat him! I am glad I did not have to tear out his throat, so I told him that if he started anymore fights, I would bite him again.

Of course. I've been told I should let it down more often, before. ...Although that might have been a figure of speech!

[Abel is momentarily appalled; some of it is obviously concern, but there's genuine surprise in there, too.] Someone here said that? You, you were going to t-tear out his throat? As ridiculous as that is, Ammy, I don't think it's wise to be getting into fights!

Your hair is very pretty, you'd look good with it down, I think.

Yes, but... he started it... [She ducks farther into the water, looking like a scolded child as she peers up at him from beneath her damp bangs.]

Oooh, you think so? I guess it seems plain to me, because I've had it all my life.

Ammy... [And there is a bit of scolding in his tone. Just a bit.] If you go picking fights with everyone who says something cruel to you, you're no better than they are.

Now, is he all right? You did say that you won, didn't you?

I do think so.

I did not pick the fight...He was a demon, and demons should not talk to the gods that way... [Her ears droop farther, looks like she's working up a sulk.] He healed within a few moments of the fight, I did not kill him. I simply stopped him from trying to kill me.

[Abel is going to pretend he has any chance of withstanding The Sulk. He grimaces a bit, sighing, before standing up to make his way over.]

Well, I - well, yes, I suppose that's different. But people will say cruel things. Sometimes it's best not to let them get to you - it shouldn't come to blows if you keep a positive attitude.

[His brow furrows slightly.] Did he really make a threat on your life?

[Ammy makes her way to shallower waters so Abel doesn't have to come in after her if he doesn't want to. At least her hair is long enough to cover her top half.]

I know, but his words made me so angry, I cannot listen to someone telling me I am fat and lazy and useless after I worked so hard to save Nippon. I won't. [She takes a deep breath, not meeting his eyes.] I would not call it a threat so much as I am not entirely sure how badly his attack would have wounded me had it hit.
