[She skids on her next turn, the sphere getting a good shot of the crumbling hallway before she's off down a side path, kicking up flowers.]

I don't know! Something's destroying the halls, it seems to have started on level twenty-four! We have to get everyone out of here, probably to level fifteen! I don't know how long this'll last, we have to move quickly!

Well, whatever it is, I want you to stay away from it, Ammy. I'll move what I can to level fifteen, if you think that's where we'll be stranded this time, but as soon as you can get out of there - ah, you can still get out of there, can't you? It hasn't affected the transports?

...The same thing that might happen to you if it catches up, I think. But I can't just wait and watch while this happens. While this happens all over again.

I suppose that might be a more gruesome way to go than simply fading, but-- [She spares a glance over her shoulder, then looks to her sphere.] Abel, I don't want to risk it.

All right. I'm sure there can't be many left to hang around, after all of those barcodes were, ah, removed. And that mess can't have gone unnoticed for long.

Just keep track of who you've seen, I suppose, and we should do all right.
