BaCK @ HoMe...
(+/-) So I came back home last night. I think it's a stupid rule to have to kick people out of the dorm rooms for winter break, but what are ya gonna do? It won't be bad to be back home, I just have to talk to my mom about the "rules" and whatnot, which I'd rather not do. =/ It will be good to be back w/ my mom and brother and friends. =)
(+) I start back @ Michaels on the 26th to do paperwork and crap. Yah, so I'll only be a cashier and will only be getting paid $7, (as opposed to the whopping $8.50 I was making as FES) but that's $7 I wouldn't be making otherwise and right now I need money. My savings is almost gone and I want to replenish as much of it as I can while I'm here. It will be nice to work w/ all my old co-workers again, plus Erica works there now too, so that will be cool.
(+) I'm also going to be working @ the Bank of America tax processing thing in Hayward starting Jan. 10th, so $12/hr. will be nice to add on to what I'm making @ Michaels. Hopefully I get my schedule from them ahead of time so I can work both jobs.
(-) I'm gonna be working pretty hard, but it seems as though mostly everyone will have jobs to be working while/if they are home, so I won't be missing out on all that much hanging out time, even though that really sucks that we won't all get to see eachother like past breaks. =/ Ah well, we'll live.
(+) Last Thursday Doug, Todd, Brian, Alli, Quincy and Cory all came to visit me and Jihye. We played pool and poker and it was heck of fun. I can never get over how great of friends I have! =) Jihye just laughs and laughs @ us b/c we're all insanely dorky. It's great! =D One such conversation between Todd and I: (we have this whole back and forth thing where we all talk back to eachother being ridiculous)
Jenn: You're being a dick!
Todd: You go to your room!
Jenn: You go to my room!
Todd: ..You go.. to your room..!
Jenn: Wow.. nice come back..
Todd: I'll come your back!
It was great b/c he didn't realize what he said till after he said it and even then, he was a little embarassed. Hahah, that Tood. =) We had a great day, Cory started up a drawing frenzy including "Todd-zilla" and "Jihye Kong" fighting, w/ all the rest of us as bystanders getting crushed and mangled by the monsters. Good times, good times. =)
(+) I also did a really good thing by setting up 2 ppl who should've been set up a LONG time ago but certain things got in the way the last 2 times I tried. Things went just as good as I knew they would. I'm a genius! =) Hahah, but if it really works out then it will make me extremely happy. =)
(-) My BBK is leaving for Arizona for 10 days and that sucks. =(
(+) My cousin finally had the other baby and she is adorable. Another little baby for me to see grow up! =D
Well that's about it.. I don't know if I will update this thing before Christmas, so... Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
