Cornell Days
I went to Cornell again today for the admitted students program. Despite having terribly aching feet and being tired as heck, I really needed the trip. It was a desperately needed distraction. I don't know if I could've stood being at home and thinking so much for another day.
Now, I am even more exicted about going to college. When we were little, we were taught that we could do anything or be anyone that we wanted. Somewhere along the way, the possibilities seemed to slowly narrow. Everything I saw today made me regain some of that optimism and confidence that I haven't felt for years.
I also feel so much better. It still hurts, it still sucks, but I know it was for the best. We are on different paths, and things never would've worked. It just takes a while to adjust and remember how life was like before three months ago, which is pretty hard at the moment. Thanks to everyone who helped. I am incredibly lucky to have you.
