Home sweet home?
Well, back in my apartment in Japan. I had a lovely Christmas, but this traveling sure is a pain. I left for the airport at 8:30 AM. When I got to my apartment in Japan, it was 3:00 AM the next day in America. Let's see.... that's 18 and a half hours of traveling? Blech. Not fun.
Am I happy to be back? Well, just comparing the actual facilities, my apartment is much smaller than my parents' house. The furniture is shot, there's no dishwasher or dryer, the drains keep clogging, quite a bit of mold has grown on my shower walls since I left, and, worst of all, it somehow manages to be hotter than the outside in the summer yet colder than the outside air in the winter.
BUT my apartment also has much faster internet than my parents' house.
I guess it's a draw.
