Two Spuffies and a Pirate

I stumbled across an unexpected source for artwork ideas from my Grannye. While at her house last week, I found her subscription to Better Homes & Garden's Scrapbooks, etc. Magazine. There is a whole wealth of tips and textures, not just for physical scrapbookers, but for digital artists, too. Therefore, I've been in Photoshop bliss all weekend. I have three new desktops to offer: two Spuffy, and one Pirates of the Caribbean.

Comfy
This was my first effort, and not my best. I never did get the quality I'd hoped from the screencap. However, I did notice something I never had before, and that is the position of Buffy and Spike's hands on the flashlight. This cap is from Potential, but their hands touching over the flashlight harkens back to Beneath You. Interesting, I think, that Joss would choose that moment for them to share that connection....

Sweetest Downfall
This one was created for my soul-twin Classic Anne in Rochester, NY, who loves Regina Spektor, too. I also owe a thanks to Andrew, for helping me to find the perfect script font: In this case, AdineKirnberg, which is available at PC Fuentes. The lyrics, 'You are my sweetest downfall,' comes from Samson, by Regina Spektor.

Davy Jones
This one's also for Andrew, by request and as a thanks for being so helpful all last week.

Although I've been a busy Photoshopper, I haven't fully neglected my fanfic. I don't have a new chapter for Anywhere Out of This World, but did manage to attend to several page glitches that had been plaguing Regrets. They should all be fixed now.

I should have a new chapter for Anywhere by the beginning of next week. This one returns to Andrew and Dawn as they deal with the news of Nighna's demise, as well as Giles and Rachel Greenspan and their journey back to London
