And here we are two months later
So. What's been going on in my life? Well. I got a second promotion at the end of March. Like the day of the 26th or something? I don't know it was a Friday. I really don't mind my new store. I've worked there before. I'm trying my best to make it the best it can be. It gets tough in retail.
I've started posting my con reports and happenings on my website again. I'm stuck at Ohayocon 2012. I really don't remember too much from that con. I did drive to that one by myself. I gotta get crack-a-lacking on that.
I haven't been sewing too much. Or have I?
For Anime Central I made a dress for my friend. It's the Gumi dress from Madness of Count Venomania. I created Panty's red dress. Honestly.. didn't see that one coming. I helped out at the premiere of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt in English. I DID NOT. Compete at Anime Central but competed at Anime Boston. I dunno. I made Angel Panty and Takagi Saya's School uniform for Anime Boston. Both are which skirt costumes. XD
I've actually been driving the past two weekends now to visit friends in neighboring states. I don't think Wisconsin/Illinois is neighboring but it's a do-able drive. I had tons of fun there. Need I say more? I also went to Ohio: both Columbus and Cincinnati. Soon I will be visiting Indiana for my friend's going away party.
Anime Expo. I have a few costumes in my head I want to do and then a legit Alter Saber costume for a group. I haven't finalized my plans just yet but I do plan on at least having the swimsuit cosplay done. :)
But yeah. I have a lot of cosplays and real life outfits that I've been working on. Today/tonight actually I finished my first ever hoop skirt and then an A line rose petal skirt. It's cute. Just simple and didn't waste fabric. I dislike wasting fabric but I've been getting over it.
I got invited to be a guest of two cons. Chiisaicon in Louisville and one in Lake G... in Missouri. I've still got NYCC and Youmacon left.. XD How am I going to survive?
I am sorry to a lot of friends that I won't be attending Colossalcon. I know a lot of people are going but I do have prior plans before that. Good luck to all those who are doing. I'm still like.. nawww.. got other plans dudes.
I started my garden again. I hope they stay alive. Lots of tomato plans for a lot of TOMATO JUICE!!!!!!!!
Exciting that this year has gone by pretty quickly. Rather crazy. Before I know it I'll already be in CA living there. XD
