I am soooooo jealous that you are going to see him AGAIN this Tuesday! Jon was great, but yeah, the Daily Show doesn't feel any different really when watching it on TV after being there, but Colbert.... that'll never be the same! Check out these articles I found about the show, they're interesting.

I truly appreciate how humble he and Jon both are; they could be egotistical, arrogant jerks, and yet they both seem like they say, "This is the job I was meant to do; for the same reason a doctor practices and a teacher teaches, I, an entertainer, entertain." I wish I could make that more succinct and eloquent, but it's a hard idea to articulate.

But yeah, I would really appreciate your asking him how the economic downturn has affected the show's operation, outside of the bits done covering it.

I also wouldn't mind knowing what's the biggest risk he's ever taken.

Oh, and obviously they aren't one-person shows... lots of talented people working on those things... lots of writers, editors, publicists, camera crew, lighting, etc., needed to put 'em together. That has to be a bit weird, though, working on those things and watching the 'love' go to the figureheads.
