My chin is STILL numb! WTF?!?! XP It's so annoying! I feel like there's a huge lump of dough on my face and there's nothing that I can do about it. Grrr! I've been starting to think that it's something serious. I remember the dentist saying that sometimes patients will feel permanently numb on their chin since there's a nerve there that runs along all the way to your wisdom teeth. He said that it isn't very likely that it could happen to me but what if it did? So I told my mom to call the dental office to see if maybe being numb this long is normal and she says that it is and she refuses to call the dentist. She says that I'm just worrying about nothing and to drink water to flush out the numbness. I keep asking her over and over again to call. It wouldn't hurt to just double check but she won't! I don't know why! It's so frustrating! I would call them myself but I still can't really talk clearly yet.
But yeah, so does anyone else think I should be worried or is it really just some excess novacaine? As of tomorrow it'll be exactly 1 week since the surgery and I don't really feel any pain anymore except for slight soreness here and there but the numb feeling is still really extreme. ;_;
