Well, I'm back in Davis. It's crazy how familiar everything is, even though it feels like it's been a long time since I've been here. It's been what? 11 weeks, and last time I was here it was for 4 days.
So Arizona was tons of fun. Which was to be expected. Ping pong, foosball, mario party 4, cribbage, "fighting," catching lizards, climbing trees, little league, soccer games, throwing around the football, ultimate frisbee, tackling, hiking uphill, the shortest hike ever, brian regan, NCAA track meet (of all times not to be back near sacramento...i could have been there watching it live!), galaxy quest, disc golf, good food, making fun of cousins (and being made fun of), glow-in-the-dark frisbee, pool, getting a decent amount of sleep, and lots of fun.
Hmmm, now that my first year of college is over I should have some nifty profound thing to say. Oh well. It was awesome. It's amazing how much you get to love the friends you meet, and how weird it is to say goodbye and have everyone scatter across the country. And how excited I am to get to see several of them this summer. Erica and Christina live in San Francisco. Evan is coming to California from Texas for his brother's graduation/visit family. Laura is visiting Julia in Colorado and then they are driving out to visit us. Chuck and two of his friends are coming to San Francisco. Of course, I'm also stoked to see everyone back here. This summer is probably going to go by very quickly, which is both a good and bad thing. Oh life. it's one wild ride, and I love it. And most everyone in it.
Now to unpacking, and trying to get over this cough/cold/sickness thing as quickly as possible.
