Soooo....life is pretty good. Hung out with Nathan last night and we had a good time...haven't really talked to him in several months.
V dub is awesome, and the new receptionist and I get along so well. She's a PR major at USC, 22, and going into her senior year. We have a lot of interests in common. Her name is Hani, pronounced Honey. It gets a good laugh when she answers the phone. Our greeting gets sooo old though..
"Thank you for calling Volkswagen of Valencia, this is Hilary, how may I direct your call?"
Look up the number and call it between 12 and 1 Monday through Thursday...thats for sure what you'll get.
But holy crap, I am sooo the minority at that dealership. We have 3 Persians, 2 Germans, 2 Russians, 2 black guys, 1 Assyrian, 1 Armenian, and all the parts/service guys are hispanic. I am like the only person who doesn't speak at least 2 languages fluently. But I'm getting better in Spanish cuz all the service guys test me...lol.
Plus they all fucking smoke! It's disgusting! And I often threaten to flush their cigarettes down the toilet if they mention it in front of me.
Got my first paycheck though...and already ordered my DB purse =)
The best part about Vdub is the Sales guys...they take me to lunch and buy me food.
Went into jury duty today...they actually released us at 3:30, and I was not called the only time they called jurors at 9:30 this morning. But I DID read about 150 pages of The Da Vinci Code and I'm totally hooked. That book is amazing. Plus Jake Hehr was there too. He's so adorable! Any Royal people remember him?
Was going to go to xtina's tonight and tomorrow night, but my friend Brian invited me to a party in the valley tonight. I'm of course the DD since I have to do starlet camps tomorrow, and I was reluctant to go because I have to get up early, but you know what? I need to stop being such a goddamn whimp. So what if I'm tired for a day or two? I get to sleep in Sunday (which will be good after x's house - don't use it all tonight bina!) So yeah, he convinced me and I'm glad to be going out. Hope it's fun and not sketchy or anything. Hey, it's my car, I can always leave.
I want Mike to call me...our 3 month is Monday! (send gifts at your own will) and his 20th birthday is august 1st...i got his gift today =) On the off chance he reads this, I won't say what it is, but ask me if you see me cuz it's soooo cute!
I envy my roommate. Her summer is just a slew of vacations and her way of earning money is doing jobs around the house.
My oboe student and his dad forgot that we arranged to have a lesson last night and I saw them driving away as I got there. His mom, who usually does the scheduling, was not pleased with them. LoL. Oh well, I got to hang with Nathan so it was a good deal.
Can't wait to see my baby tomorrow!
