Life thru a lens...

What is it with art? Not that I would call anything which comes from my own fair hands 'art' necessarily.

I love photographs... whether they be life shots or intricate, beautiful, stereo-typically 'artsy' shots. The reality shots help me to feel safe in my surroundings, predicting what will come next in most settings, remembering faces, and holding memories which are very dear to me. The artsy ones... now those are the ones I truly love. Only what I consider as beautiful is just plain old jane joe to a lot of people, which is dissapointing.

You know when you get so passionate about something and you just want the person next to you, whoever they may be, to sit up and take notice of it? Not of you, and what you are accomplishing, but of the beauty and wonder which exists in what you are doing... but they don't get it, and as a result, you don't get them? Yeah - that is how things are today.

Despite this, I have some stills which I am proud enough of to show 'the world's neighbour with a beard' - which is what I affectionately like to call you lot. Unfortunately it will have to wait untill I get back to my own flat and can upload them. Ny parent's may not 'get' what I find so awesome and dazzling about the way the christmas lights show up the shadow of that wooden rose just right, but perhaps someone out 'there' might... we can but try...
