Candy Theme on Gmail!
Okay, I haven't been using the web-based Gmail, except when I'm not using my laptop or when I need to look for something that wasn't imported to my Mail client. But when I heard of themes, I decided to take a look at it, and I feel that Candy fit me the most. Yes, I even wore Candy colours today. Again. WHEE!
So random useless babble you don't need to know about me but I'll say anyway. On first day of Oblicon, my professor asked the class if I was usually this chirpy. Today, my Theory professor called me bubbly. Haller, if it weren't for the subtle witty remarks, I wouldn't have been giddy. But yeah, as scary as law school professors are, they are actually very ... witty funny.
Case in point:
*professor talks about his college classmate in Radioactive Sago Project*
*asks us if we listen to them*
*blank faces*
"What do you listen to? Miley Cyrus?!?"
"Yes." - Vanessa Gumban, whispering to my ear.
Actually, I'm guilty too. Specifically this week, Genius mixed "I Got Nerve" on my "No Air" playlist which I had to Genius-playlist not because of the Chris Brown/Rihanna concert I missed, but because last Wednesday, there was a power outage in Malcolm Hall and we didn't have air-conditioning in our classroom, even the library well into Thursday. So the song was effing perfect.
Added notes to my pathetic existence:
- I wonder why when I play Quinn (Tetris freeware for the Mac OS X) as mode of procrastination to my gazillion readings, I play so much better. Now that it's Friday and have no weekend class, I suck. Boo me.
- Speaking of playing, we "role-played" in Theory class today. Since I was so bubbly, my professor made me and my seatmate subject of example while he test issues on our understanding of natural law. It was so ridiculously funny. As in, in that two-hour period, I became a happy killer (killing off people who were sad), an abortionist, a suicide assistant, an ice cream slave and finally, a physician who assists suicide. Oh and Vanessa Gumban is my newest BFF. LoL.
- I would like to thank Agatha for graciously lending to me the remaining Twilight books. I shall attempt to finish it before the 26th, while the rest of North America enjoys screening now. Boo.
- On a side, MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: How To Lose Friends And Alienate People [IMDB]
I know, I'm not giving the film dignity by blogging about it as part of my random whim of blogging. But really, if you love Love Actually and the less popular but equally lovely Love and Other Disasters, and other contemporary British comedies, this one is for you.
Pwede na pampalit sa Twilight! JOKE!
The story is about a radical British magazine journalist who got hired to an upscale posh New York magazine, who he used to make fun of. Bringing his snide British-ness to the world of Hollywood was just so amusing. Oh! Oh! And you know that hot girl sa Transformers, Megan Fox? She's in this film too.
Let's take a plunge.
When I grow up, I wanna be famous, I wanna be a star, I wanna be in movies.
