About a month ago my roomates informed me (didn't ask mind you, informed) that a friend of hers and her two daughters (and, keep in mind, I _seriously_ hate children. All of them.) would be living with us "for a while" while they "found a place in town". They were supposed to be splitting time with another household. That fell through. This woman and her kids have been living in my living room for a month.
Now, we have a pretty nice big apartment for 3 people. It is a very, _very_ small apartment for 6. This woman is not paying rent, she is not on the lease and she is not paying anywhere _near_ as much of the food bill as she and her kids eat. I know she's supposed to saving money, but she isn't. She's spending it on haircuts and fireworks and things for her children.
I tried talking to my roomates about it this morning, explaining to them that I was _tired_ of having these people in my home. They just sort of wiggled around it with a "well, we'll make her pay for things in August, blah, blah, blah...".
The point is, I don't want her there in August. I have been _more_ than generous with my money and space. I don't know these people -- hell, I wouldn't even do this for most of the people I _do_ know. She has had a month. I want her out.
My roomates are also my friends. I don't want to lose that friendship, but I know that if I put it that plainly, I will. I'm not sure what to do. This whole situation is just pissing me off and driving me crazy.
