Yep, I'm a slave to the wages. There's just something nice about earning $50 an hour on a public holiday.
Reminds me I'm lucky to have such a cruisey job, since I'm literally doing nothing today. Except possibly reading. Reason? Someone forgot to tell Global Ops that though it was a Brisbane public holiday, we were still scheduled to work. Hence, they've excluded our center from all the calls. So while they work through and try and return us to the fold, we get to sit around and crack jokes or read or do whatever the hell we want. Cause what we'd normally do if there weren't any calls? Yeah, that's not working today either.
Public holidays are fantastic things.
