(no subject)
I went to NYC for the international hotel/motel/restaurant show this past sun-mon. it wasn't really what i expected. The club that i went with, club managers of america, took like 5-6 cars down and arrived in NYC around 5 something. We went to dinner at some restaurant called Tonys. It was a family style restaurant with good food which made for a nice change. Our waitor didn't card so I could have gotten anything ranging from beer, to wine to martinis etc. Why didn't I? I am retarded. But I ended up spending so much money on taxis, subways and food that it is probably a good thing that I didn't order expensive drinks. After dinner, we went to a bar. This guy in the club bought me a drink so I didn't have to worry about being carded. A guy from Ohio decided it would be a good idea to sit on my lap and flirt with me even though I have a b/f and was totally not interested but he did not get the idea. After the bar, Dava, Scott and I went to a diner and i ordered yummy carrot cake! The international hmr show was alright. There wasn't as many companies there as I expected. By that I mean companies that are looking for students to intern or work. There were tons of companies there trying to sell their products and ideas. The kosher/mexican section was pretty cool. I got to try a lot of free food and drinks. The oreo drink was amazing and so was the chocolate tortilla tacos filled with caramel! I come home in 7 days!! Ahh so excited...I cannot wait!!
