Happy Easter 2013! :)
Gabriel produced this insanely cute drawing (of the Easter Bunny of course) this evening. We had a fun, family-filled weekend. Rick’s cousin Katy continued Uncle Paul’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at her house this year and his cousin Chuck even donned the ratty old Easter Bunny costume. It was the first year without Uncle Paul, but it was really good to see the rest of the family.
Both Nicholas & Gabriel had fun & found a LOT of eggs! Here they are with their loot. I can't believe how big they are both getting ... !
Today we went out for a fun brunch. Nicholas ate: a quarter of a loaf of banana bread, two slices of cinnamon raisin toast, a HUGE omelet, three sausages and drank a glass of orange juice followed by a chocolate shake. But I guess he’s eleven and a growing boy. :) I can’t even imagine what it will be like when he is a teenager. Although the fact that he is always on his iPhone with his earbuds in and has difficulty hearing anything we say is a sneak preview.
The Easter Bunny left all kinds of fun toys (including my all time favorite champagne truffles.) He also left a fun craft project for Gabriel & I. Here are a mother & son chick out for a stroll with butterflies & flowers. I love Target! :)
