Considering the possibility of thinking about potentially, perhaps/maybe trying Madrigal in the future. Discuss....

I agree with everything that's been added here, and I want to specifically echo ladymerase's mention of secret-keeping in Madrigal - it is *ridiculously* frustrating. PCs do it, NPCs do it, and there are a lot of times where all these secret things will get hinted at IG in ways that clearly say to a player that "you're out of the loop - you have no idea what's really going on, you poor sad fool." It can mess with your head so badly.

And as far as I understand it, there was literally a Madrigal event rewritten in the last days leading up to a weekend to reflect that some PC let secret info slip IG, and so the whole event turned into town being occupied by the Inquisition, trying to ascertain who had let info slip out. The IG atmosphere of that event sucked.

I figured out a while ago that I mostly continue playing Madrigal because I like the inter-PC connections I've developed IG, and because I'd feel even *more* out of the loop if I stopped playing, since virtually all my friends either play or staff Madrigal and everyone likes to warstory about it when we get together. But the style of the game makes me pretty miserable at times. So I say all this out of concern for your happiness.

I third/fourth this statement. It's so hard to wiggle your way into plot unless it's directed towards you specifically or a group you're in (not necessarily team).
