btw, know of any nice horses for sale? seniormost is looking. i have two for him to visit in minnesota (at "penridge farm" -- woman seems nice, from the net), otherwise it'll be waiting to see what turns up at the mspca where he volunteers, or perhaps eventually descending on gudmar again :)

Yes, date. I signed up for one of those stupid online dating service things, one that came recommended by numerous friends. It does allow me to weed out the super creeps quite rapidly, it does slightly less well with boring or immature. But, I haven't been on an actual date (K doesn't count, apparently) in three years this month, so I thought I'd try. We met in a very public place, I had Fred's cell phone in my pocket, and he doesn't know where I live. He talked a lot, I tried to talk but boy, was he chatty. We went to "Milk" which I liked and he fidgeted through. (To be fair, he's 6'5" so he didn't have much leg room.) I remembered why I date guys who are older than me (this one isn't, the lack of maturity was almost painful) and decided that it might be worth trying again, perhaps eventually I will actually learn to enjoy it. It's better than staying home with the dog and the dulcimer. Isn't it? Quite frankly, I'm not sure I've been missing anything. Maybe I should just become a nun. Can you be an atheistic nun
