Implementation of new rules
Given how split things are in breaking up sign-ups into two posts, we're going to do a test run in round 22. The results for preferred times were leaning most towards posting at 12 midnight and 10am, both GMT. So with that bit of detail, Sign-ups for the first twenty-five spots in round 22 will go up at 10AM tomorrow. Sunday at midnight, I'll re-open sign-ups for the final twenty-five. (Note that both links in this paragraph link to a countdown to when sign-ups will open)
In round 22, we will also begin permitting participants to participate every other round. Regardless of if you submitted your icons, if you sign up for round 22 you will not be permitted to sign-up for round 23. There will not be any exceptions to this rule. By signing up, you're giving up your privilege to sign up in the next round.
The poll was also split on how to choose categories and themes. My thoughts are to rotate choosing of themes/categories to every three rounds. So we'd start round 22 by members choosing themes and then in round 25, you'd choose themes again. So with that, I'll plan to post 10 or so theme ideas on the 24th to give everyone plenty of time to think about how easy/difficult they want to make the round. (10 themes will be pared down to 5, as per the results)
I've also decided to open a "help" comm for celeb20in20. I know there wasn't an overwhelming opinion for it, but the votes also weren't overwhelmingly against it either. Joining is not required, but encouraged. :) So look for a post about that in the near future. I'll probably need some help running it as I'm crazy for even contemplating starting another comm. That'll probably go along with the post about the comm. :P
I will also be opening co-mod applications in the near future. School starts up again and I can't feasibly stay up til 2 in the morning to post sign-ups. :P With that in mind, I'm tentatively looking for someone that's in Europe/Asia/Africa/Australia rather than the Americas (unless they've got a wacked schedule, then I'm all for everyone. :P). I'm not trying to shut anyone out intentionally, but I don't think it's particularly beneficial to the comm if I add another person that's near to the same schedule as I am.
And to wrap things up, I've added some information about using lj-cuts and/or html to link us to your set of icons in a multi-submission post here. This post is also your last reminder to enter round 21. We've got about 36 hours left in the round... The following people have yet to submit their icons:
